GreenCupboards won the Spokane Regional University Business Plan Competition with their idea for an e-commerce company that sells environmentally friendly products. Co-founded by Gonzaga University graduate Josh Neblett with just a $288,000 initial investment, the site is now a leading online green products retailer with a presence on multiple online marketplaces. Their mission is to create the most extensive yet easy-to-use website for an eco-friendly lifestyle.

The company currently works with more than 600 suppliers and offers more than 15,000 items, including products and foods that are certified organic, fair trade, cruelty free and environmentally friendly. The company's Green Compliance Team (GCT) thoroughly researches every brand and product offered, and has defined 24 Eco-Traits which allow customers to decide what being green means to them. Their extensive product research and easy to use search filters allow shoppers to discover products that best fit their values and their lifestyle.
